レッスンお休みの件

親子プレイグループと幼稚園児クラスは、３月いっぱいお休みすることにしました。

とても残念ですが、ご理解の程宜しくお願いいたします。

また、大人、小学生、中学生クラスに関しては、通常通りレッスンを行う予定ですが、

停電等の関係で、突然キャンセルさせて頂く事もありますので、予めご了承ください。

今週のプレイグループはお休みです。

まだまだ余震が続いていますね。

今週（１６日と１８日）のスタジオでのプレイグループはお休みすることにしました。

来週に関しては、様子をみて決めさせて頂きます。

勝手を言って申し訳ございません。

また元気な子供達の顔を見られる事を楽しみにしていますね。

No lessons on Saturday

Due to the earthquake and risk of aftershocks, we are closing the school on Saturday. We hope you are all well. Please stay safe and we'll see you all on Monday.

Mum's English Club

２月２３日（水）１１：５０〜ママの英語クラブがあります。

今回はココスです。お間違いなく！

Valentine's Day lunch

It wasn't the most romantic Valentine's lunch, but Mr and Mrs Sherriff had a great time with 16 of Tower English's elementary school pupils at Hariom, the Nepalese curry house in Abiko.

And more importantly, all the children ordered their meals in English. For bonus points (and a Valentine's Day chocolate), each student had to think of a question to ask the waiter - in English.

Some of the questions they asked were:

Do you like Japan? Where do you live? What's your favourite curry? What's your name? What's your favourite colour? Do you like working in a curry restaurant? Why did you come to Japan? What curry do you recommend? Which do you like - Nepal or India? Do you like cats?

Everyone did really well and had a good time. Happy Valentine's Day all.

Valentine's Day Lunch is coming up!

毎年恒例のバレンタインデー・ランチ、今年は２月１１日です。

今年も我孫子の美味しいカレーやさん、ハリオンでデートです。

当日は、ネパールで英語の先生をしていたウェイターさんに来てもらい、

子供達がそれぞれ英語で注文し、ウェイターさんに英語で質問タイム、最後はお会計も英語で頑張ってもらいます。毎年面白い質問が出て来て、大笑いさせてもらっています。

使える英語ってホントにこの事だなーと実感する場です。

Say hello to our 500th playgroup student

Here he is, the 500th child to attend our playgroup, with his mum.

Taisei, 2, of Abiko, won an ABC puzzle, a small gift from us to say thank you to all the children and mothers who have made the playgroup such a success.

Mrs Sherriff does try to remember every kid's name, but with 500, it's getting harder and harder...

プレイグループのお友達が５００人に達しました！！

たいせいくんが５００人目のお友達です。おめでとう。

時間を作って参加してくれる皆さん、ありがとうございます。

できる限り、お子さんの名前を覚えようと必死ですが、段々難しくなってきました。

これからも英語大好きキッズを誕生させていきたいと思っています。
